I am an international R3 applicant and I had attended their webinar a couple of weeks ago. What was reassuring to people like me was that they explicitly said nobody has had visa issues historically in the last round and that they are confident we will not face issues.
Saying this out loud for applicants like me because on other threads we were discouraged that its quite difficult to make it through.
Even if there is one seat we must put up a fight!

Pretty quite around here -are you guys excited about this Friday? Now that I heard back from Darden and Johnson with positive news, the pressure of not getting in at least one of the schools is off, but SOM still remains my top choice. Good luck everyone!

They took us across the SOM and the community is truly collaborative. They asked us to choose between two courses - 1) Advanced Leadership by Gen. Kolidtz and 2) Operations Strategy by Prof. Anjani Jain. Most of us opted for the first. Since Prof. Jain's class was cancelled that day, all of us were sent to Advanced Leadership class. Actually that class was full of MAM students. It was an amazing experience. The classroom is so student friendly and high-tech equipped with 3 screens and all. I liked it. Then there was a Yale university tour led by a guide, who is a Yale undergrad student. The university campus is as stunning as I expected. Think of Oxford/Cambridge like buildings.. The libraries are truly amazing.. 
. But I saw Amtrak services to New York from New Haven every 20 minutes. That might help for people trying to keep in touch with New York. Career Services meeting was also good. It was not prolonged. I met some very smart people who are applying this year and the admissions team was very friendly and patient in explaining our queries (though we couldn't get any secret information. Yale SOM was the second school I visited this fall (other than Kellogg- which was amazing too 
) On a whole I liked the experience at Yale SOM and it has crossed my expectations.
