Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some guidance on whether my profile is competitive for Yale SOM and if it makes sense for me to apply.

I have a GMAT Focus score of 655 and a BTech in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from a Tier-2 college in India (top-ranked in my state). I graduated in 2020 and worked in Deloitte Consulting for three years. For the past two years, I’ve been working in my family business, where I currently manage our group’s salt manufacturing business end to end. I also serve as an advisor to other group businesses in real estate and renewable energy.

I already hold an MBA admit from Duke Fuqua with a USD 30K scholarship, and I’m trying to understand whether I realistically have a chance at Yale and if applying would be worthwhile. Any insights would be very helpful—thank you!

Extremely hard to judge
It depends on what the class looks like after R1

But you should definitely apply!
