The question I really wanted answered was "What percentage of R1 interviewees do you expect to offer admission to?"

Alas, I went 0/3 on my questions. :arh

you know they'd never answer that. Although that would be nice if we'd know

Last year Rose explicitly said they invited about 60% of R1 applicants to interview, so based on last year's admission rate they admitted about 40% of people interviewed. But who knows with the increase in applications this year whether they'd interview less, or just accept fewer of the people they interview.

I heard they were considering interviewing a lower % of applicants this year, so the % of interviewees admitted is hopefully > 40%.

I hope so. Last year I was one of the unlucky 60% who were dinged after interview.

where did you get this information? Rose has always said that they interview 50-60%, depending on the quality of the applicant pool.

At an info session well before R1 apps were due. But the GSB rep only said they were considering interviewing a lower %. If I remember correctly, a 40-60% range was mentioned. Didn't sound like they had made a decision, and I doubt they would until seeing the applicant pool.

I.e., I wouldn't put my hopes on what I heard, because it didn't sound definite. But if you're looking for minor details with which to drive yourself nuts over the next week, here you go! :-D

me neither.....they really need to filter out all the nonsense questions. Whats gmat will get me in etc etc

What I can not believe is that people ask these types of questions. I haven't been involved in any of these events yet so I do not know what goes on, but I even know better than that. :?

I did not get it. And my status is still invite to interview, as well.

hmmm...probably some sort of computer error...

i'll tell you, its no fun to be driving home, having your phone beep with a new email from Booth Admissions saying your status has changed - I almost went into the Chicago river...

EDIT - per the BW forums, it seems as though all re-apps are getting a similar email...

Maybe it means that they decided on your application? Wasn't the status before interviews "submitted"? If so maybe "completed" means "we know what to do with you"...?
