Only one more week to go and prospects seem to diminish as days pass by. I know I can convince myself that I still have plenty of days. That is what I have been thinking since Jan 31 :wink: . I think I need to bravely accept the impending DING and look forward and prepare for other career moves seriously.

So far 22 invitations for 40 applicants. That's an impressive record. I cant wait to see how well we do with the final decisions.

To all those waiting for an invite: A week to go for the deadline and if R1 is any indication, a bunch of invites go out in the last few days. Also, there definitely is not correlation between timing of the invite and the strength of your app- as can evidenced by admits who received their invites in the last few days. So...keep up your hopes :)

PS: As you can see, I am an optimist :D

Also, there definitely is not correlation between timing of the invite and the strength of your app- as can evidenced by admits who received their invites in the last few days. So...keep up your hopes :)

Hey Dosa...You seem to be lot more spirited than me...As for me, I know there are already 55% invites in the club and assuming GSB typically interviews 60% of applicants we are close to that quota...I don't have any more hopes and if anything should happen it should be because the sun has aligned with all 9 planets in the system :-D

In R1, 19 out of 22 applicants from the club got interviews. That works out to be ~ 85%. So we still have 30% of invites to go out assuming GSB is interviewing the same % in R1 and R2. Also, admissions411 has a larger sample size. ~75% of R1 applicants were invited for an interview and so far, only about 45% R2. So, a lot more invites to go out. As I said, I prefer to look at a glass being half full :)

FYI, for those of you interviewing this weekend, I'm going to make an effort to be on campus on the 16th.... I will be holding a "LISTEN TO ME RAMBLE COFFEE CHAT" all day.
