rhyme, I thought booth has a very high Yield rate at around 75%+. Is that wrong?

Chicago Booth yield is notoriously low, or so I'd been led to believe. I expect this comes from being the "safety school" for H/W/S applicants. Around 60% was the last quoted figure I saw.
A question for current students/alumni related to Strategic Management @Booth
On previous years threads, I have heard a lot about courses and professors (esp.Scott Meadow and Steve Kaplan) in Entreprenurship conc., but have not seen much discussion about courses & professors in Strategic Management conc. Can someone from current students/alumni please write about their experiences about courses & professors in Strategic Management conc. Thanks

Sapphireka, The reason why i thought Booth has a higher Yield rate((% of accepted applicants actually attending booth) is because there seems to be a less movement in WL over the last 2 years.

In truth I think its probably between those two figures -- 75% is certainly too high though. Per businessweek, published selectivity is 22%, total applicants is 3800ish, thus approx 830 offers made, for a class size target of approx 550 or 560, which would imply a yield of somewhere around 67%
Hey found this wonderful little community while searching for ways to prepare for my Booth interview but I am only now getting around to posting. You can count me in for Rd 1 with an interview... and those holding their breath for the next week or so. Good luck to all!
Waiting on the final decision next Tues/Wed, and I got an invite for a chat on Thursday with admissions. Did other people waiting for final decisions get that?

I received it. I wouldn't read into it. Damn it I am nervous for next week . . .
I got the chat invite too, but here's one that's even more interesting:
There's a student hosted event on Dec 16th in NYC. Did other people get this. I feel like this would be the biggest tease ever to get this and get dinged the day before.

I did not receive that. Are you located in or near NYC? I'm way out west.
maybe i'm posting this question in the wrong thread... sorry... but i thot it might elicit some responses from people tired sh#$less of waiting and needing a break. i m planning to take Booth in R2.
Could anyone gimme pointers as to the structure of essay 1?
I'm definitely in the tired of waiting category! My essay 1 was structured like a typical goals essay - what I've done, how it led to the mba, why chicago and what's next after graduation. Hope that helps!
Hey I just noticed I am not on the roll call! If this is still being updated please add me as I received an interview invite on 10 Nov.
And since I'm bored I was checking out the spreadsheet too. 730 is the average GMAT this year - very strong applicant pool! Does anyone know if gmatclub is normally skewed high, low or even?
