Long time lurker, first time poster. I just thought it would be fun to have a thread for us all who are taking/ retaking the GMAT This November. Hope people'll join me on this one- we can share this stress and keep each other motivated/ posted!

Revision so far: still struggling with the OG. I tried one Manhattan Practice test but I can't believe the real thing is that hard, so I stopped.
First/ second/ third... attempt: Second attempt. The last one, I couldn't sleep at all the night before, and bombed it -_-

Revision so far: OG, OG Quant book, OG Verbal book, Kaplan book, complete MGMAT general set, MGMAT 800 quant. GMAT Prep Exam pack 1 and additional question pack too.
Everything is going very well. I got a 740, 760, and 740 on my first three GMAT prep tests which basically completely mirrored testing conditions. I even used the MGMAT erase pad on the last one. I'm aiming for anything over 700 so I seem to be in a good place.
First/ second/ third... attempt: First, which will hopefully be my last. I started an intensive studying regime about 5 weeks ago and I just want to get this out of the way so I can focus on the rest of my application.

Good luck to everyone! I took mine at the beginning of November (needed to place it strategically before snowboarding season began), but I figured I'd join in anyway.
Test date: 11/3/14
Taking the test in: Orange County, CA
Revision so far: Kaplan. I had heard good things from my friend and I thought it helped me a lot. GMAT Prep 1 was a 610, studied a bit, Kaplan CAT 1 was a 680, and it hovered there for a long time before I started breaking 700 regularly. Total study time was 2 months.
First attempt and last I think, I'm happy with my 730 (49Q/40V/8IR/6AWA).
I don't have much to say except that I tried to reward myself after every practice exam, good or bad (usually in the form of a good meal like In N Out since I'm otherwise a very healthy eater) which allowed me to ruminate over my performance without having to think about cooking. And always think of the positives! Your score might not have been as high as you wanted on your practice, but maybe you paced better, or maybe you improved on one section. Hell, maybe you recognized a mistake you made on a previous one! As long as you stay positive about your progress, you keep wanting to move forward.

(food = solution to everything. Story of my life). Care to share what practice tests you used? 
. I would kindly like to ask you about the university you mentioned above" ranked 80# in USnews with 20000$ scholarship" . Perhaps I will try there .
