Sorry for the redundancy. I was reading earlier-dated posts first. Welcome to the board, by the way. It's nice to see new applicants join the discussion.

It wouldn't surprise me if they waited until Friday. I applied Round 1 and found out a day early but my guess is that R2 application volume will dwarf R1 so it will take more time to reach admitted students.

My guess is that they will be calling today. Not to cause anxiety or anything but most business schools these days give phone calls to admitted students to give a personal touch to the admissions process and to better market their program . I wish all you people the best of luck and hope to see you this fall at rice

31 hours to 5p Friday. I have a weird feeling it's going down to the wire w maybe even an extension due to the lost days from the "freeze of 2011".

Either way, my phone is charged and by my side from now until we hear!

Yes, w/ scholarship. Very generous and I verbally accepted on the spot. I'm still waiting for my Texas decision, but Rice became my first choice as I went through the process and I am staying home.
