I would not expect any technical questions.
Eilah
Does anyone know if we should expect any technical questions during the interview?
For example, I have mentioned about econ data analysis skills on my CV, and my interviewer is an econ professor. I’m wondering if I should refresh my memory on some relevant topics.
While the primary focus is on understanding your motivations, experiences, and goals, the specific content of the interview can vary depending on the interviewer. They typically won’t delve into the technical details! Given that your interviewer is an economics professor, it would be prudent to refresh your knowledge on relevant topics to confidently discuss your expertise if such questions are posed/ just a chat.
