Hi guys! I got admitted to the summer PT program and accepted. Anybody else who applied for the summer program or is waiting to start in the summer?

I have interviewed for Saturday summer program, decision pending. When was your interview and how was your experience?

Hi! I actually interviewed a while back in mid-October on a Saturday, and got the call right after Thanksgiving. I had to wait for almost 6 weeks (almost losing hope!). I interviewed with an alumna, and she asked pretty much the same set of questions you listed above and took a fair amount of notes. The whole conversation felt pretty casual and relaxed. The interviewer was very friendly and we talked for almost an hour. I asked her a bunch of questions about Kellogg and her own experience there. I felt pretty confident after the interview, and it was very inspiring talking to her too. I feel like if you went prepared, you can't really screw it up. Best of luck! Hope you get the call soon :)

you should give them a call next week if you still haven't heard anything. did you apply for other schools? have you heard anything from them? if so you can use this as a leverage to get the to respond faster. gmat978 hideyoshi

So I just got an email that said they needed to verify my background using Re Vera but I haven't heard back on an actual decision. Did everyone else have to do this before hearing back on a final decision?

Usually the Re Vera background check happens once the admit decision is made, which means that you could consider yourself admitted.

I believe it would not hurt calling admissions to confirm if it is really what you think it is.

Yeah, I emailed them back to ask and they said the committee has reviewed my application but needed the background check verification before proceeding with ad decision. It just seemed odd to me that they would perform a background check first before a decision since the other schools I applied to would first accept then perform the check.
