Congratulations! If you don't mind my asking, how much time passed between your interview and receiving an admissions decision?

Sorry for the late reply. As Storm9 mentioned, I talked to a few current and ex-students and none of them seemed to have used the help of consultants. Personally, I do not think that consultants add any great value either, unless you have something specific to overcome such as low GPA, struggling with essays etc. If you are sufficiently informed, do the requisite research online and know what you want out of an MBA, then being straightforward in your application and doing it yourself is the way to go!

Hi mailneelk!

I agree that admissions consultants (unless you start working with them well in advance, which some people do) can't really move the needle that much on the important building blocks of your application -- namely your undergrad, major, GPA, test scores (usually), community involvements, profession, prestige of employer, and performance in job relative to peers.

What consultants can do (or the good ones at least) is coach you to find a compelling personal narrative that is authentic to yourself. This is not a "brand" or a bucket to sort you in. But rather an overarching vision that explains the choices you've made and the places you're going. Good consultants then help you weave that narrative into every part of your application, from the resume to the short answers.

Hope this helps!

Completed my interview on 6/26/2017 for the Fall Intake Weekend Program. The interview process was very informal and actually quite enjoyable! Excited to hear the decision in the next few weeks!

It is a rolling decision process. Not sure if after the final due date how long it will be for Kellogg to decide.

Did you get a formal letter in email yet ? Does anyone know how long does it take from a phone communication to formal letter of acceptance.

Nope not yet. They said I'd receive an email this week.

Hello Future Business Leaders!

I just submitted my application for Summer of 2018! I'm from out of town so I needed to apply a bit early since I'll have a lot of moving parts, if accepted. I recently interviewed on September 27, 2017 and I just emailed the admissions team to make sure I had all the necessary documents completed in order for a review/decision from them. Let's see what they say!

I'm new to this but feel free to PM me or reply to my post if you have any questions on the application process or the school (Kellogg FTW) and hopefully, I can give you a decent response.

I wish everyone the very best in their academic and career aspirations! We're all in this together!

Hello everyone!
This is a dumb question but does anyone know where classes are actually held?
Kellogg FT is in Evanston. But I know the PT offices are downtown so not sure..
