There are 8-10 slots available on the portal for Alum.

That is weird. I still see no slot. The page says "there are no upcoming events"

How is this fair then? If they are doing rolling invites on a random basis plus there are so many people here whose application got delayed because of fee waiver, atleast keep alum slots open on a rolling basis too right? Posted from my mobile device

I think you need to be patient here. Even if you have attended one or two weinars with adcom (stacey or Rodrigo) , you will realize McCombs interviews almost all the candidates or atleast 70% . While it is easy for me to say keep calm, I truly understand the frustration. But just wanted to put it across , some people who got invites have ting sorted out for them already. For example some reapplicants already have transcripts and scores senst inpast so their GIAC was updated in 5 days. Just be patient and you are good captain.

Did anyone here book a slot with an alum? It is possible that they keep releasing few slots for alums every time they send out invites.

Hope so too bud. Just keeping my fingers crossed for an interview invite. It’s already been a pretty rough month decisions wise

True! Also I now think a current student would be a better bet for building a rapport since most of the times the alums are old but yeah hope you get your choice.

Hey I can speak on this. I hd my R2 interviewer with the alum and back in R2 last year , they had divileged the information about Alums already. As far as I rmeber most of the ALums were student who had graduated in 2020. They were young I logged in the interview portal and I see almost all the slots have been taken away . Not sure if people booked those already? The remaining times are somewhat uncomdrtable like 1 or 2 am for my time zone
