haha, welcome to the club BCC!

Yeah, Kellogg took quite a bit of time this past week. Every day I've been sleeping around 3am working on the essays. It's not a lot of work, but just endless minor revisions based on reviewer comments and rephrasing things... I'm just glad it's over.

Still need to get my boss to send in his rec though..

I guess 2 more days left for interview invites... still no one else eh???

terry12 and grad_mba, did your status in the application website change to "invite for interview" or is it still "under review?"

I'm wondering how we can check whether a potential interview invite email got eaten by the spam filter :P

interesting, so I guess some of us could have gotten an invite but might have lost it in the junk mail... similar to my Kellogg interview invite experience. :(

I know that to call them may sound "needy", but if you are, just call them anyways...

Yes, Stanford has a new policy...They know who is going to apply and interview them even before they receive their app. It's pretty awesome!

In BW forums, Someone with a nick "cookiemonster" reported an interview invite from Stanford.

I think he's referring to the fact that he just got his Haas interview invite. His Stanford interview was in December.

Kellogg never called me when my email was eaten (in november 2007). They even emailed my INTERVIEWER asking why she hadn't turned in the report yet, and she said I never contacted her. And STILL they did not send me another email or call me.

I have even less faith in Stanford's admissions office being *more* gung-ho than Kellogg...

I guess its now officially over for people like me who havent received the invite from Stanford. Now will hope for a waitlist

Damn, Kryzak. When I saw you had posted to the Stanford thread, I thought/hoped you had gotten your interview!

Oh well. Derrick's initial blog indicated he might be sending out a few invites up until the decision day. I'll continue to keep my hopes high for everyone.

I suppose I should get back to the &$@#%^ Kellogg app...

well, no such luck terry12, but thanks for thinking of me! :)

I've pretty much convinced myself that it won't be a huge loss to not get into Stanford. Sometimes it is good to "diversify" and get more alumni network from other schools. :P
