UNC Kenan-Flagler ( 2Y program)

Which one you will choose and why ?

I want to go to Consulting or Consumer Packing Industry .

CPG is hard for internationals. Are you a domestic student or international one?

The other option and choice and question is do you need an internship?

I’m international. I have experience in CPG ( most of my experience is there) .

I do know if I need an internship . I mean I have work experience. But all the international students are looking for the same a job to get the sponsor .

I’m really confused.

Sounds like time to do research :-) CPG does not hire international folks really….. let me find a link for H1B approvals

This is from a while ago but you can search the H1B database as well. top-mba-h1b-employers-343153.html#p2688478

It is hard. I knew one international guy who went to work for Nestle but that’s it 😬

If you have a strong brand on the résumé, it’s a plus. Sounds like you may want to spend more time researching and figuring things out. 😇

I interviewed for R3 last week on the 16th. I'm wondering if I can ask adcom for an expedited decision because I received a few R2 offers which expire mid-April.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I asked them about the same for R2 - Waitlist : they reverted with the same deadline and decision grid... but you ca try sending an email

Finished my interview with UNC today, probably the longest interview I ever had. Was asked around 17 questions. Did anyone have a similar experience. Don’t know if it’s a good sign or a bad sign?
Will post my debrief tomorrow morning

That’s rough! I had the exact opposite experience - interview started 20 minutes late and it seemed like the interviewer was in a rush to end mine. Got over in exactly 20 minutes

I don’t know what to make of my interview either

But seems much less stressful than your interview :-P

My interviewer was often switching between questions on professional achievements and behavioral questions.
I guess I’ll put out the most comprehensive debrief ever :D
