They send most invites on their Tuesdays. But that's not definite either. You can except them even on other days.

Did anyone receive invites yesterday? I received a mail and thought it was regarding interview but it was another promotional mail about connecting with student ambassadors. :|

Hang in there. They receive a ton of applications so rolling out invites takes time. Also UNC sends invites to a lower proportion of total candidates. So, it can longer than others. And even if they are taking time to roll out invites, they will release the decisions quite early on 12 Dec. That's the upside I see.

Guys what do you think ? Are you at a disadvantage if at unc you tell that you’ve applied to higher rank schools ? How will this be viewed by adcom ?

That's quite human. Adcoms do not expect you to apply to only one school. And if somehow you tried to prove this to them, they might even take you for being naive, because with acceptance rates at his T20 schools being less than 30%, it's obvious that the majority of the crowd won't get an admit, so having other options is "human". And if they have asked you "what other schools are you applying to", being honest about it is in no way gonna affect you negatively.

If you’ve applied to several high ranked schools and your profile and score are much higher and suitable to those school, schools do waitlist/reject profile on the basis of yield targets

They have sent the invite to quite some people already who have high scores based on their nationality. Not receiving a call yet is indicative of a ding (not completely, if you have a high score)
