Those who received interviews,
How long did you have to wait to find out if you were receiving an interview?
Also, did they give you the option between in-person and web-based interviews?

ASU is the first application that I am submitting so I am expecting to be especially anxious and nervous about the whole process. I am finishing up my essays and completing the rest of my application this week.

Hey AndrewPGlover,
I submitted my application on 16th September and received an invite on 6th October. The interview invite email just had the webcam interview scheduling option. But IMO there should be a way to conduct in-person interview as well. :)

Good Luck with your applications buddy !

I'm an IT employe with 4 years of experience. What are the odds for me to get an admission into WP.

Hey,

You do need to send them the GMAT/TOEFL scores eventually. You can upload the scanned copies of these two during application though they must receive your college transcript hard copies before deadline.

As per your profile, all US schools have a 'holistic' evaluation where everything plays a role in selecting someone, essays, academic performance, GMAT, Recommendations and finally interview. With your stats,if there is no red flag in any of these areas, you are definitely in!Good luck!

I would describe it in the exact same way as siamr did. In one phrase, "hard to describe". I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for a good result.
How about you?

Hey pankajvashist , Yes you're right, the recommendation form will be sent only after you submit the online application along with your essays.

Hey Siamr!
Thanks for the input.
I have a follow up question. So if i have to meet the 30 November deadline..i have to submit my complete application by 20-21 November . So that my recommender have 7-10 days to fill. or the recommendation letter can reach after the the deadline.

So.. If you submit your 'online application' before the November 30th deadline, you will be considered for the priority round. But, IMO your application won't be 'reviewed' until all components are complete including recommendations and hard copy of transcripts. So the timeline that you suggested looks great.
Hope that helps!

hey rockinsitu

i would only suggest that keep couple of experience ready to tell regarding leadership, teamwork, ethical issues etc. And the questions are long so dont bogged down by them and focus on what is exactly being asked

I submitted everything (with references submitted as well) on November 4, received my invite for interview on November 6. Interview is on November 16.

The email has a link to setup in person interview times, but says if you cannot attend in person to email and alternate arrangements will be made.

I did want to note this to everyone applying:

Interviews are first come first serve basis. If they do not have anymore time slots for in person and for webcam interviews, you will be bumped to the next round.

I sent the transcripts through DHL from Jaipur (FedEx is equally reliable). After asking for student discount, it'll cost you between Rs. 1100 to 1400 depending on your location. Just call them and say that you need to send documents to a university.
It generally takes no more than 4 business days for the documents to reach the university via DHL or FedEx. :)

Hi Guys!
I have 2 questions. What are the documents, which we have to send in harcopy through courier (considering I am opting for online recommendation)?

Also, My TOEFL date is on 21st November, so the results will come on November 29th or 30th. Is there anyway the adcom would consider be for priority round, if I can fill the rest of the details and proofs now, and send the TOEFL score and documents once the results come. .

Any response would be much appreciated.
