adityatg123Was just researching the eligibility requirements for MiM , and most of them have a limit that the candidate should not possess a work experience of > 2 years
If MiM is aimed at folks with [ 0- 2 ] years of work exp and an MBA ( considering that the candidate is aiming for M7 or T15 ) ideal for professionals with [4 / 5+] years of work exp , are there any other well recognised programs for folks with 3 to 4 years of works experience?
And in case if I wish to do an MiM is it advisable to quit my full time work before I hit the 2 year work experience mark and then apply a year later ( I'm not sure of anyone has even done this ) and if the admission committee would be okay with this

adityatg123,
While many MiM programs prefer candidates with less than two years of work experience, there are exceptions. Some schools recognize the value of a blend of academic and professional experience.
Deciding whether to quit your job depends on several factors such as your career goals, program requirements, financial considerations, and so on. Admission committees value career progression, and taking time off without a strong reason may raise questions. However, if you feel MiM aligns more closely with your goals, you could consider applying sooner rather than later, provided that you can demonstrate why it’s the right next step for your career. We would recommend researching specific program requirements to determine if a gap in employment would be detrimental.
