Hi,
You have a strong profile and scholarship is quite a possibility depending on how your portray your profile and its strengths through your essays. Should you need guidance on that front, please DM me.
All the best!

Hi
I am a 24 year old Indian female. I graduated in BSC Economics in 2018 and I have 4 years of work ex in an international investment bank and I am current working as a market risk analyst. I have 90%+ in both class 10 & 12 and I have a CGPA of 7.88 in undergrad. I have a gmat score of 720(Q47,V41).
I want to apply to UBC Sauder, York Schulich and U of T Rotman for their full time MBA. Apart from the Canadian bschools I also want to apply to ISB in india. What else can I do to my application strong so that I can secure an interview call? Also, I would like to receive scholarships so how can I also ensure that?
Would appreciate admission experts feedback :)

Greetings,

I am an ISB Alum, CO15, and have been assisting applicants to get into global business schools since then.

Ideally, a score of at least 700+ is recommended for a strong chance, however, scholarships require a more competitive score. I suggest you clearly mention your work responsibilities and projects you have worked on. Try to bring out the impact and results that you have created with your work and connect it to how it brings value to your application for an MBA. Focus on writing a stellar essay combining your future goals with your endeavors and ambitions will make your application strong. Mention your leadership experiences and extracurricular activities outside of work in your application.

Good luck!

No doubt you carry an excellent GMAT score, but it's your overall profile that matters. Each and every B-School has its own way of thinking, so that depends on the b-schools perspective of considering your GMAT. If you have everything going in your way, like excellent academics, prestigious work experience some good ECs, then the overall profile will take care of that.

Don't Waste time trying to figure out what schools want to hear, or which post MBA goals are hot this year, or project flashy, polished images of yourself. Instead, think of yourself as a unique person who desperately needs to communicate your story to the adcom. That something is not just needed for your MBA-it’s deeper; what makes your life and experience compelling to you.

saying all the above, since you have limited time for your target school deadlines enroll in a certification course offered by Udemy, CourseEra, Unacademy etc. A course related to the subject you will study in MBA or related to your career that will help you to develop your skillset.

To evaluate your profile in detail, talk to our admission experts.

Hello Mekhs,

Your GMAT score and work experience appear to be in line with your target programs. Having said that, a spike in GMAT would definitely improve your chances considering Canadian schools have increasingly become competitive over the years (owing to a surge in applications).

You haven't shared any details pertaining to your extra-curricular activities and the same would be crucial in terms of showcasing you as a person with holistic interests.

At this point, you must focus on performing at work as well as exploring the possibility of improving your score further since involving in anything new a couple of months prior to applying may not have the desired results. However, some activities like joining a Toastmasters Club or taking up pro-bono consulting could help add interesting talking points to your essays.

A set of compelling essays with your goals logically articulated and strengths aptly represented are going to be crucial in ensuring you have a strong chance at getting an admit. Canadian programs are not known to be scholarship friendly and we, therefore, cannot comment on your chances on that front. Again, a higher GMAT would help boost scholarship chances as well.

Should you have any follow-up questions, please feel free to seek a detailed profile evaluation and we will be happy to speak with you.

Good luck!
