Dear Experts
I have already taken my GMAT and scored a 640. I have scheduled my retake next week. If I don`t cross 680 (700 is the average score for all the institutions I aim for), I will cancel my score. My question is whether the cancelled score gets added to the score card (as a row below the already scored 640) or nobody knows that I have taken the gmat?
Cheers
Balaji
Hi Balaji,
No the cancelled score will not be shown on your scorecard. Only you will know that you have take the attempt.
However, i would suggest you to take a positive mindset and go in the test.
A few things to keep in mind on the test day:
1. Do not think about the final score at any point of time
2. Once done with a section forget about it and concentrate on the next one.
3. Take both the breaks. It helps you to freshen up
4. Take a note of the time when you are out for break. Do not exceed the break
5. Do not rush through the last 5 questions in the verbal sections in a bid to see your final score
6. Make sure you complete the section. There is a high penalty for not completing the test.
