Got an email this morning that the packets have been mailed. Hopefully that means they were sent yesterday and we'll start receiving them today and tomorrow. Everyone else read about the art print Carlson got commissioned for the full time program? Pretty cool idea. I'd post a link to the vimeo video of it being made but the GMATClub forums wont let me..

Based on the email, my guess is that the packets were mailed on Monday. Anyone receive their info yet? Nothing here as of yet.

I think it's a cool idea. They are certainly proud of the school and the area. Nothing yet for me, hoping tomorrow.

I got a UPS Shipment Notification email that describes the contents as a "FT MBA Admit Binder." No other description. Not sure if this is from Carlson or another school I applied to? It says the delivery date is January 14th. Anyone else get an email like that? Seems weird it wouldn't arrive until Monday if they were mailed earlier in the week. I'm guessing this came from a different school, if you guys didn't get that email.

I got my packet in the mail today. It was delivered by USPS. There's not a lot of new information. It includes a cover letter, scholarship certificate if applicable, a poster version of the art print and a "next's steps" outline. I'm in Wisconsin, btw. The Carlson UpClose weekend is April 5-6 with them footing the airfare, up to $500.

Congratulations to everyone who received admittance and scholarships. Are you matriculating, when you have also been accepting to more "prestigious" schools? I have been invited to interview via Skype on Wednesday. Any particular things I should look out for?

Personally I'm over the whole "prestigious" school thing. I know tier 1 programs are very good, but I think I can accomplish exactly what I want to, if not more, at Carlson. If you want to work for a Fortune 500 company, what better school than Carlson? I think Carlson is a sweet spot in terms of MBA value. The only thing I would note about the interview is that they will ask behavioral interview questions, so go over some of those if you're rusty.
