To answer your question, a minimum of 600 score is required for admission to the Imperial MBA program. However the higher the score, the better the chances of acceptance. Other parameters which the top B-schools look for in an applicant are
1. Career trajectory
2. Ability to connect/build connections
3. Academic Background
With 8 years of work experience it would be easy for you to fit the parameters for admission.
However it is important for you to build an overall strong profile. Hence, we would like to know a detailed profile including your career trajectory, LORs, academic background, etc. to evaluate your chances better. Thus, feel free to hop on a call with us to get a better and detailed understanding of your profile and give you a fair and thorough evaluation. If you feel comfortable, can you tell us a bit more about what makes your background so non-traditional? That's actually really important to understand your chances for R4.
In general, assume somewhere between a 10-20% premium on the GMAT, though there's no real minimum score. It's all about how many seats are less (often 90% of the class is filled by then) and how your individual background might bring new diversity and/or round out the makeup of the incoming class. R4 tends to be a bit random, so that's why it's really not recommended unless you have a truly unique background and/or set of circumstances for applying.
If you can hold off until R1 of the next application season, that's really best.
