I would just suggest one thing: you know, it's much better when changes as giant as these are announced in advance so that users can prepare themselves for the changes. Just a suggestion. :)

Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate it…. How would you prepare to this change? Sorry if it has disrupted some thing. I’m just trying to understand. Thx.

its a good feature to have , but it will be great if similar feature was also extended to RC and IR is tagged to the forum list of practise question bank..

I have some ideas for RC improvement.

IR is tricky however. Let’s wait until the new format is announced so we have a better sense of which IR question types will be in the new format. Maybe it will be all of them but may be only some… the annoying side of IR is that some questions have sub questions and it makes it challenging to calculate the difficulty or even have a timer… Sid may have to be correct incorrect type of thing for the time being. Anyone has any better ideas? 🤷‍♂️

Hi,

Thank you so much for making such changes. And it would be great if you bring the same changes to the RC section too. But, I have a ques are any new ques also being added to the list or the list of ques would remain the same?

Thanks!

Well, It takes a small amount of time getting used to small changes and a big amount of time getting used to big changes. :)
Disrupted?, yes, absolutely! But I will only find out the level of disruption after using this for a few days so will see.
But that's alright, I think I am good at coming up with out of box solutions to problems so let me try on this. :P

So, I think difficulty levels have been changed in the below manner:
Old "Sub 600" ==> New "400, 500"
Old "600-700" ==> New "600, 650"
Old "700+" ==> New "700, 750, 800"

Is this accurate? :)

Edit: Yea, so the disruption is potentially major, don't know the whole extent yet, still checking. But you see, I make all my notes and error logs according to the difficulty level of a question so now, the old notes are going to be incompatible with the new ones. Will see if I can figure out a way to integrate the two.

Awesome update. It gives me more control and precision on setting the difficulty level of the questions, especially in the forum quiz section :)

Alright, so I did some digging and figured out how these difficulty levels have been changed. So this is how you can compare the two:
Old "Sub 600" ==> New "400"!
Old "600-700" ==> New "500, 600, 650"!
Old "700+" ==> New "700, 750, 800"!

For anyone trying to integrate their old stuff with the new stuff, this is how to do it. :)
Cheers. :)
