Is it okay to change your job if you plan to apply to b-schools 1 to 2 months down the line?

No need to bother about the job change. B-Schools ad coms look into your holistic profile and leadership potential.

Hi unc123,

The reasoning should be very strong while you mention the change of job in your application, but it shouldn't be a red flag in your admission process.

I am changing my job because I have received an opportunity in a firm much larger than my current one. The job profile mostly remains the same. Will it help my application/not affect my application/bring up a red flag in my application ? I plan to apply within 1-2 months of joining, if I do join.
