That is very true. There are no patterns (geography or industry) except that they did not tend to call people in the middle of the night based on their time zone.
It might be based on who was the Admissions Officer in charge of your file. When I received my call, the AO told me that he was going to be my point of contact going forward.

Yes, the person that calls you will be your specific ad com contact going forward. But that still doesn't give you any indication of the time you will receive your call. Just try not to worry and keep yourselves busy today!
