So what do u guys think - should we keep our fingers crossed for Wednesday or would tomorrow be the day!!
Historically, Booth calls admits the day before the official decision day. I'm not on the adcom, but I haven't heard any rumors that this year will be any different.

Having bombed my interview (really ... trainwreck) I already know it's a ding for me. I just wish it could come asap.

the timestamps on the forum are not in line with my timezone and I can't tell which timezone they're coming from... does anyone know when calls started going out last year, eastern time?

I live outside of the US and before my interview I was talking to one of the adcom members and she pretty much said calls will go out the day before. She also said that they will try to prioritize international applicants because of the time zone difference. The good news for me is that I am in the US for the holidays so I should be getting my call nice and early in the day! (If I get accepted of course)
Just looked back at the posts for last year, which had roughly the same number of R1 applicants, and it's amazing how many more pages of posts there were compared to this year. One would have to get to pages 47-48 to reach the Monday before the decision notification
I think the reason was because last year, Booth released interview invites in many batches. So there are lots of posts from people worrying and speculating about the whole process. This year, they made it much easier by doing it in one shot on the 31st of Oct.

Booth has done a good job of sending all the interview invites on the same date. When the interviews trickle down, it makes the people anxious.
They call whatever number you listed as your preferred means of contact, which most list as their cell. I do not recall hearing of anyone contacted on their work line so I think it's pretty rare.
booth has changed its processes this year and I hope our prediction that calls will still come through this year is true otherwise we will be panicking for nothing
