Does anyone know what happens if you get accepted at Columbia in R1 and then dont take the offer? or pay the \$5000 and then dont go later?

Double check with Columbia (BTW they have an adcom member responding to posts on BW so you can anonymously post your question there. Please let us know what she says.)

As far as I know, if you apply ED to CBS and are accepted, but do not respond to their offer of admission, you will lose your spot. If you pay the \$5K and then decide not to attend, you lose the \$5K.
