I've been admitted to Oxford Said and am preparing to make the big move there in the fall. I'm trying to plan a realistic budget but can't find much insight on how I should plan to spend monthly during the MBA (and still haven't found alumni willing to share). While Said does provide an estimated budget, the range is too big (£12,168 - £18,655) and I really don't know where I should place my budget.
Does anyone here have any idea on what would be an ok monthly budget for Oxford? I know it depends a lot but just a general idea would be of great help!
Thanks in advance

If I were you, I will choose the average of (£12,168 - £18,655). I assume you are someone that does not waste money or spend money on frivolities.
Hi! I lived in Oxford for about 6 months. Depending on your college and their graduate housing availability, I would average about 1200 pounds per month if you are living in college. If you are living outside, it will cost more but should still be under 1500 for a room - especially if you live on Cowley Rd or near Brooks and not in the center (just a 20 min walk or 5 min bus ride). Beers are 4 pounds, bagel and coffee are 5 pounds, meals are always less than 10 (you can also save some money by eating in college dining). I also suggest sandwich shops at the market for cheap eats. Club membership is about 15 pounds a year. If you want to be part of the guild, I think that is 100 pounds. Hope that gives you some guidance!

Hi the budget estimated by SBS is a good indicator. If you are residing with your partner in a university accommodation, I will put the expenses between 1200-1400 GBP per month. However, if you want to do a Euro trip while studying there or has a child, then I will add 400 GBP more to the estimate per month. To wrap-up 1500 GBP per month should be a good estimate for the course duration (for 2 people sans extravagance)
