What should be the negated sentence for
"None of the applicants was offered a job by both Evco and Radeco."?

None means 0
So it's negated version will be anything but 0.
Hence the negated sentence will be
"Atleast one of the applicants was offered a job by both Evci and Radeco"

Here's a good trick for negating sentences.

Imagine that somebody said that sentence, and then somebody else said "that's wrong."

What does the second person mean by that?

First person: "None of the applicants was offered a job by both Evco and Radeco."
Second person: "That's wrong!"

Your intuition may tell you that the second person is trying to say, "No, there was somebody who was offered a job by both companies." That's the correct negation.
