Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, your profile looks good on the surface. You have clearly shown growth from a technical contributor to a strategic tech leader. Moving from Cognizant to Director of IT Operations at Infomizer within four years demonstrates strong upward mobility and initiative, especially with your focus on workflow automation, cross-functional collaboration, and business-aligned system design.
The entrepreneurial and leadership exposure here could be a real differentiator for ISB, Said, and even LBS if you frame it around your ability to bridge technology and business strategy. Your GPA is on the lower end, so you’ll need to counterbalance it with a strong GMAT/GRE score and perhaps emphasize professional certifications, data science exposure, and measurable impact in your roles.
The freelance design work adds creative flair, which subtly reinforces your adaptability and multidisciplinary approach, something schools like Said and ISB really value.
To give your ISB application the competitive edge it needs, join us this Friday, October 10th, for a critical session with the ISB Senior Associate Director- Amit Tyagi. Gain the exclusive, official blueprint and strategies you need to maximize your chances of acceptance into the ISB MBA.

Good Luck!
Your profile shows clear progression within the technology sector, though there are specific areas that will require careful positioning in your applications.
The trajectory from Associate at Cognizant to Director of IT Operations at Infomizer over four years indicates a good progression. However, given that Infomizer operates outside the tier-one brand space, you'll need to substantiate the Director role with concrete evidence. This means detailing team size, budget responsibility, and quantifiable outcomes, think along the lines of cost reductions, efficiency improvements, delivery metrics. The title itself won't carry weight without this context.
Your three years at Cognizant provide solid technical foundation, but Java and microservices development can appear fairly standard unless positioned differently. Frame your contributions around business impact. This shifts the narrative from pure execution to leadership potential.
The 2.8 GPA is a concern across all three programs. You'll need a strong GMAT, 700+, to counterbalance this.
In terms of school fit: ISB aligns well with your background. The India-based tech profile fits their class composition, and if you can demonstrate meaningful leadership at Infomizer, you'll be competitive. LBS will be more challenging as they typically favor candidates with global exposure or top-tier firm experience. Said is more receptive to non-traditional profiles, particularly if you can position your work through a social or business transformation lens like automation driving accessibility, scalability with impact, that sort of thing then it would make a stronger case for your application.
Would also suggest you keep other options open like NUS, Imperial College, Mannheim, ESMT Berlin. There are more options that can be discussed.
We'd be happy to evaluate your profile for free and assess how you should approach your application. The race is on for R2, so let us help you put your best foot forward.
Kind Regards,
