Hi, I don't know if this was answered earlier. I am an admitted student through EA, and had received my confirmation after payment of $75 for credential verification by Rev Vera around 20th of November. I haven't received any updates from Re Vera about the progress about my verification as yet :? Has any of the other accepted candidates on this forum received a confirmation mail from Fuqua's Office of Admissions letting them know that the Verification Process has been completed?

I was an EA admit last year. I paid the $75 background check fee immediately after getting accepted, and it took Re Vera over three months to finish the process.

Hi,

Can somebody help me understand "Downlaodable" forms section. I don't understand a word of it.

Is it not relevant for Round 2?

And what's calculus course? Please explain, someone...........

Thanks
raghupara

The downloadable forms are simply informative documents...

Honor Code - You should review this...
Application Instructions - You 100% should review this to ensure you have completed all parts of the application correctly
Transcript Request Form - If you have already scanned a copy of your transcript, I wouldnt worry about this. I'm assuming it is needed to request an official transcript to be sent to fuqua once accepted
Sample One Page Resume - This is a sample one page resume...
Offical U.S. Transcript Example - This is an Offical U.S. Transcript Example...

There might be a more official source, but according to this website: https://www.mbaprepadvantage.com/Duke%20Fuqua%20MBA.html, the deadline is immediately before midnight: "MBA Applications received after 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on each deadline date will be considered in the following round."

Hi,

I am facing trouble in understanding two questions: :(

hi, how/where can we find details to describe the university's GPA value in comparison to Duke's GPA stance? I do not understand this part of the application. Can somebody help...

Also, I am still not getting the question on calculus. I think it was my high schools days. Is that the differential/integral calculus?

Thanks

If you took calculus in high school and were exempt in College, your transcript should reflect that. Or else, list a math class where derivatives and integrals were used and that your college transcripts can back up. At the end of the day, it is up to the adcom to determine if you "fulfill" the requirement based on the information you provide.

With Duke's stringent Calculus requirement, it might not be a bad idea to take the Math booster course over the summer even if you were waived in college so that the concepts are fresh come Fall.

Interesting. I had to do a Re Vera background check for a job and it only took 2 or 3 weeks, maybe 1 month max. It could be that this was "rushed" somehow because they had a set starting date for me, or perhaps the company only checked a few things and bschools check more in-depth ... not sure.

What time is the app due tomorrow?
For R1, it was midnight of the date listed on the site, though I believe neither the website nor the application list the time explicitly. (There are definitely posts from me and some others asking this same question earlier on this thread :) )

Good luck to all you R2s!!

I wish Fuqua posted the time on its website. Its a crucial piece of information...especially during the mad dash to get your apps in

You'd think it would be one of those obvious tidbits of information they would include. @threestripes & other current students -- want to pass along our sentiment to admissions? :)

Thank you so much highwyre237,
The transcript page was precisely what I was worried off -- I didn't kno any other school that gives info on official transcr during application!

By the way, I didn't have enough space to loop in my indivudal semester marksheets, despite the 3 part uplpad option. I just uploaded the consolidated marksheet, I hope that shouldn't be a problem!

Thank you,
Raghupara

R1s -- January has finally come. Good luck next week :) As we've seen before, no calls will go out before hand. Status update emails seem to be sent out either around noon ET or 3:30 pm ET and after, and if admitted, you'll then receive calls from your interviewer as well as your Fuqua Buddy. January 8th will certainly be a day of constant inbox refreshing!

Only admitted and WL people get emails updates or dings too?

there's no other way to say it...that's a pretty sad oversight for a top mba program.

All R1 results will be released via status update email -- admit, WL, and ding. We just have to wait for the email and hope the letter we want is there :)
