My goal is IB in nyc but open to other locations.
Neither one of these programs will be a great feeder into IB in NYC. Sure, a few folks go every year from Owen, and Owen does OK for IB in Charlotte, but I wouldn't call it a steady pipeline to NYC. I don't doubt Goizueta has similar results. Both schools seem to send ~20% of their graduating classes into finance roles--but Goizueta appears to be doubling Owen (as a % of the graduating class) for IB specifically.

They're peer schools and they're both largely regional. I suspect recruiting from either program for IB will be very similar, and the opportunities you land will largely be because of what you bring to the table, and not depend nearly as much on the fact that your name tag will say either "Goizueta MBA 2021" or "Owen MBA 2021."

*I* would choose Owen because Nashville is a 100x more fun than Atlanta.
Good luck with the decision!
Edit: I voted for Owen, but I think Goizueta at a discount is not a bad deal.
