I am in my 3rd year of BBA , my profile is 10th = 65% , 12th= 83% , BBA = 70% expected, i have done 2 internships in startup and NGO and been involved in politics , is there any chance that I can get into ESSEC MiM and if yes how can I improve my chances for the same.
For your graduation, your GPA is on the lower side, and since you don’t have prior work experience, I’d recommend aiming for a GMAT score of at least 645 and highlighting any extracurricular activities that could strengthen your application

Was your cgpa 9.2/10? And does the college tier matters a lot?

The CGPA matters a bit if you have a lower gmat and vice versa...My GMAT was exactly 645 so my previous work experience and CGPA helped my strengthen my application for the good schools

Regarding the college I dont think that matters a lot for MiM but yeah the complete application should be balanced and coherent

Got it! Do you think 645 is a good score which puts you in a safe space for ESSEC, ESCP? or it would be something like 665+. Obviously higher the better tho but what you would say?
Fortunately my cgpa is 9+ if it helps a bit to strengthen the overall profile.

Also, in which round did you applied?

It depends on the overall application and the round you apply to. CGPA and GMAT are not the only factors..... your LORs and essays play a major role as well.
I applied in Round 3 because, for Round 2, my GMAT score was a bit low

Hey ! I would suggest going for a >=645 for a scholarship convert(although it is not guaranteed that you will get a scholarship if you score high but a higher score is always preferable for a convert)

Hey, thanks for sharing your profile! As they say for the GMAT, ‘the higher, the better’..I’d suggest aiming for 645+ to stay competitive. Also, just a heads-up: most luxury management roles in Paris require a good level of French, so it’s worth keeping that in mind before moving here

I’m Lalit Singh, 21, Mathematics (Hons.) graduate from Delhi University with strong foundations in quantitative analysis, finance, and data-driven problem solving. I graduated last year. Academically, I scored 92% in 10th, 92% in 12th, and 65% in college. After graduation, I worked as a Finance Analyst at Pathfinder NGO for an year, where I streamlined reporting processes and built dashboards that improved decision-making. I also served as a Subject Matter Expert at Chegg, delivering advanced math solutions with over 95% accuracy. Beyond academics, I founded Flemingo Prep, a startup that grew into a 5,000+ student learning community, and contributed to social impact through the Robin Hood Army and NSS, leading education and food distribution drives. I’ve also built multiple projects in data and financial analysis using Python, SQL, Tableau, and Excel. Currently, I’m preparing for my GMAT, scoring 700+ in practice mocks should I aim to score more?
