Pls can someone reply and help me thru this. I’ll be applying for MiF in R4.
Profile:
Indian Male
Bachelors from US (Well known uni)
GPA: 3.66/4.00
GMAT: 615
CFA L1 PASS
Interned in a boutique PE firm, and a large insurance firm.
Currently working in the GCC region in strategy consulting.
I’ve heard a lot of negative stuff about applying in R3/R4, I want to genuinely understand my chances here. I will also apply to ESCP and EDHEC both Mif/MSc Finance - for ESCP currently it’s R2 and for EDHEC it’s R3.
Pls reply!
Hello!
Essec does take a good set of people in R4 as well, don’t think you need to worry about that.
A loophole that I can see in your profile is core finance experience since you’re currently working in consultant. Would advise you to make sure you mould your experience accordingly and highlight finance wherever possible - both in your CV and Essays, they can be game changers!
The rest of the profile sounds good for Essec. All the best and feel free to reach out if you need any help!
