Well can you please give a feedback of Frankfurt School? Their full time MBA program has just been initiated, and the school boasts of their prestigious accredations.

Also, the Europian University - Munich has an MBA program of just 9 months! Is it more beneficial/viable to chose a b schoool with a 15 - 24 month program?

I don't believe anyone can comment much on Frankfurt given the program started this year (if i'm not mistaken). That being said, Frankfurt is a big hub in Germany but time will tell how their program plays out - it's currently a fairly high risk investment from how I see it.

Dear chirayu,

FSFM, WHU and Mannheim are reputable German business schools/universities,
however as stated by others FSFM's MBA is newly set up, so you will have difficulties getting much information on this.

Regarding European University - Munich: I must admit that I (being a German business student) have never heard of it before.
Reputable German universities in Munich are the LMU Munich (Ludiwg-Maximilians-Universität München) and the TU Munich (Technische Universität München).

Attending a longer MBA program might offer the advantage of giving you the time to do an internship (e.g. in the summer), which might be helpful in securing an employment opportunity after graduation.

Hello again

Going to a brand new business school even at a good university is a huge risk (especially considering the investment involved).
Going to a 1 year business school has both advantages and disadvantages. It will cost much less than a 2 year program, you will be away from work for a shorter period of time. On the other hand you will miss out on internship opportunities that play a key role in securing good placement post MBA. The options to pursue a specialization will also be limited in a 1 year MBA program. So weigh the pros and cons and then decide.

All the best

Hi,

There are very few business schools in Germany and Mannhiem and WHU are definitely on top of the list. Frankfurt is an average school .Knowing German will definitely help you securing a job in Germany. For job prospects it is good to know a foreign language! Most of these schools include German language as part of the course curriculum.

Hope this helps. If you would have any other queries, please do let us know and we would be happy.

Once you have shortlisted the schools you are applying to, check their requirements. Schools in US (most of them) accept both TEOFL and IELTS. However some schools in Europe may accept only IELTS. Even if you don't have the final list of schools, check out the requirements of all the schools you are considering applying to

Yeah, same thoughts here - I'd put Frankfurt School above European University, but not yet sure how to place it with respect to Mannheim and WHU. It's a new MBA, but the school itself is really established especially on the finance and banking side and in FT rankings for the Finance Masters. I could see FSFM getting ranked well sometime soon since employment would surely be boosted by the fact that the schools in the middle of Frankfurt... The thing that puts me off WHU is that it's kinda in the middle of nowhere. I'm narrowing down my MBA applications to Mannheim, Frankfurt School, and IMD in Switzerland (as my long-shot!).
