Why low GPA?
I believe the best way to learn things is to implement what you have learned so far. That being said, staying in the top quartile was never my game thus low GPAs. To cover up my Low GPA gap I have worked on the GMAT.
Why second MBA?
As I have been consulting startups for almost a quarter, I know now that consulting is what I want to do in the long run. I believe with my second MBA, I will be able to make the much needed jump. My focus area is Strategy.
Target B-School:
1. Insead
2. Wharton
3. Judge
4. NYU Stern
5. ISB
Questions:
1. What are my chances of getting in the targetted B-School? My dream is to get into Insead.
2. Since I am a Independent Consultant, whom do you think will be the right person for LOR?
3. Should I mention my start exp, W1, as a full-time exp or not? NOTE: I was earning at that point
4. Acads & Independent Consultant, can these 2 factors weigh me down?

Far from an expert, but I think you are going to face an uphill struggle here, despite the 760. Nothing really stands out as impressive other than your Gmat and there are a lot of things you will need to successfully address with your app. I think you are a prime case for working with a consultant, you are going to need a very cohesive and convincing application to break into one of those schools.

You will have a difficult chance...you have a great GMAT but low academics, career story, and 2nd MBA coming from a competitive demo make your candidacy challenging, not impossible just challenging

Was it FT and you were earning money then yes

Yes, they can both, UG GPA and work experience are key factors, so you will need to address both these factors. Your high GMAT helps on the GPA front, the work experience is still a work in progress for you
