Hello everyone,
Hope youre already accepted or choosing the school of your dream, would like to share how I finance my Executive MBA with INSEAD.
As you probably know cost of Executive MBA relativelly high in comparison with full-time MBA. Schools sees their Exec students as a fully employed persons top management (executive) roles who are ready to invest more in order to stay in the business.
Fees in top schools are creeping to 100 K and even more in current years, sky-high for dual degree (2-3 universities involved).
As a majority of Executives Ive decide to jump into the programme 5 month before the start, have no idea how to finance it. As a Ukrainian to get loans in my country is nearly impossible- loans for education doesnt exist and interest rates for loans in local currency is between 18 and 24% p.a.
Ive explored different options of scholarships before choosing the campus and manage to get 30% of my tuition fee covered ( thanks to Abu Dhabi Executive Fellowship).
Afterwords Ive considered combination of equity and loans - one of the most flexible and available cross-border financing option was offered by
Prodigy Finance. In the situation where I cant get any financing
Prodigy came up as a magic stick to me. Application process was a bit wierd for me, the person who used to traditional banking visit, manager relations and paper work. With
Prodigy preliminary approval takes only couple of days after submitting all documents. Overall Ive managed to cover up to 50% of the fees with a
Prodigy Loan.
Already during my studies Ive realized that lots of people are using
Prodigy for financing, despite the availability of company financing otions, to be free in potential career choice. Youll never know what would be your next move after MBA.
Good luck to all,
Mykola
