I do not have inclination towards any location. As long as I get food and little bit of sports I am good :D
The things that I can improve next year can be
- extra curriculars
- improved work ex
- can get some certifications if that helps
- I had a word with one of the admission consultants and he rated my current application as 5/10 so working with an admission consultant might present my story better than what I could present this year.

Also the current H1B visa process thing is unclear as how it will effect the international students so that a little concern.

I would probably take a stab at applying next year, Foster is a pretty good fit given what you are looking to do but a 750 and an improved application package can certainly set you up nicely.

Thanks for the replies guys. Wanted to update that I received admit from Notre Dame with $60k for two years combined. I know Notre Dame has a bigger brand than Washington so is it alright if I let go of Notre Dame/ Foster to try and get in next year at UCLA/Cornell/Yale etc?

Hey,

You have some great offers! Notre Dame and UW are solid options...especially with that scholly $$$.

As far as the difference between the two programs...I don't think that Mendoza is really any more prestigious than Foster. Both schools hover around the mid 20s in the USNWR rankings, and their employment reports have almost identical numbers.

You can see them here:
https://recruitmendoza.nd.edu/assets/194432/
https://foster.uw.edu/careers/full-time- ... tatistics/

FWIW, if I were choosing between the two schools, I think it would come more down to fit and preference than rankings/outcomes since they're so similar. For me, I may even give Foster the edge. For recruiting purposes, it helps to be in a major market (Seattle) surrounded by blue chip Fortune 500 companies (Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, etc.) rather than in the Indiana wilderness...especially if you're interested in Tech. Yes, ND isn't *too* far out of Chicago...but even in Chicago ND plays third or fourth fiddle to Booth/Kellogg/Kelley.

If you had specific goals that were clearly achievable from either program ("get a Tech job in the Pacific Northwest" or "any finance job in the Upper Midwest") then I'd recommend negotiating for more money, and picking your favorite of the two.

However, since you're an international applicant, you don't have specific goals that necessarily align with either program, and you are rocking a 750 on the GMAT, I would definitely wait one more year. Programs of this caliber will still be an option for you (perhaps with even more money), and you never know what other kinds of opportunities you could land if you get all your applications in during Round 1.

Good luck with the decision!

i think you are ok to pursue other schools given your new score. These two admits are both great programs especially with the money, but I think if you apply next year you can trade up or still gain admits in a similar area
