How hard is it to get into HEC Mim Fourth round?
I have a 665 Gmat Focus and a 28/30 Italian GPA from LUISS University, IELTS 8.0 and one year of consulting experience working for a Junior Enterprise. I believe I have a unique profile as I have travelled to 65 countries and have 5 years of life experience in the UAE. I also have a B2 french level and an erasmus semester in Toulouse, France. I am also a passioante skydiver, which is a highly distinguishing factor. Should I attempt Round 4? Is it a dumb idea to take a gap year and apply in the Round 1 or 2 next year?
This is my first time posting on a forum, so not sure on how to end the post.
Thanks everyone (I guess)
Lorenzoterrone16 - strong profiles make it even in R4 (scholarship chances are usually lower though), and you have some good differentiating factors.
The biggest concern that an AdCom potentially would have is whether an R4 applicant is "serious" about their application i.e. are they applying because of rejects from other schools, why/ didn't they plan in advance, etc. If this angle can be satisfactorily addressed, along with a strong narrative covering other aspects of your profile and motivation for the program, it's worth giving a shot.
All the best!
