Yamini-
The Indian IT application pool is massive, but as a female, you at least have a bit more of an edge. I will try to speak to your questions below:
Based on these above criteria, I have shortlisted the above schools. Could you kindly let me know whether the targeted schools are apt for my profile? If not, could you say whether my profile is recommended to apply for these target schools?
I think your schools are reasonable and within your critera, but you will need to visit these schools in person if you can to truly assess fit. Nothing a statistic or website can do that a personal visit can. If you have the time, you should apply to 5 or 6 schools.
2. Could you kindly comment about my leadership potential? Is that strong, weak or OK? What more I can do to make it better to put strong application forward?
Sounds like you have decent demonstration of leadership potential, with a promotion at work and also leadership experience outside of work as well. The latter is a real advantage, since most applicants to b-school end up whipping together some volunteer experience at the last minute instead of really getting engaged. you will want to emphasize this.
3. As I worked primarily as a developer, I did not get a chance to go onsite in my company. Hence, I do not have any international experience. Do B-schools highly value of the international experience. Lack of international experience is a big worry to me. Will this hamper my chances to get into my target schools?
Yes, in a nutshell, top schools are indeed looking more and more these days for people with a global perspective and work outside their home country. Having said that, you actually bring international experience with you in the form of working in INdia (this obviously will not apply to your applications to Indian b-schools). What you can possibly do is to think about whether your firm has some international projects you can work on even if it means staying put, but working with teams assigned abroad. Virtual international work is a fine substitute for travel work.
4. Can I contact admission committee of my target schools by sending my CV to them and asking my chances for scholarship?
Scholarships are very unlikely for international students. Most scholarships come from wealthy alumni who give money back to the school to support students and therefore put restrictions on them for US citizens. Also, schools use scholarship money to entice students to come there, and since there is no shortge of Indian applicants, very few Indian applicants are offered scholarship money. Still, you will be automatically considered for any fellowships or scholarships when you apply--there is no need to reach out and ask specifically about them.
