Hi bb

Hope you are doing well! Thank you for this post, I was reviewing the Gmat Club Math workbook recently (super amazing resource btw!), and would like to request you to add the Geometery ques as well. Although there is cordinate geo in the workbook, I would still like to see other geometry questions that can still be tested on GMAT FE. As quite a few of the test takers in their reddit and gmat club posts have shared these horrors.

Thanks and regards,
Nipunh

Thank you for the suggestion. It has been a bit of a struggle. The minute we post anything that has Geometry someone who is new immediately starts panicking and claiming this is outdated and we are clueless. it has been really a struggle. We have a few Geometry questions on GMAT Focus and finally had to add an explanation on every question (not even in the explanation) that it is still within the GMAT Focus Parameters.

However, the reality is that while you may be surprised to see a Geo question on your test, you don't really need to study geometry formulas. You should only be familiar with general principles of volume, area, triangles, and lines. We do have an extensive chapter on geometry in the math book but it is really not needed anymore as it is very extensive.... but if you really want it, it is here:

Might be bit of a stretch to classify the above problem as a "Geometry" problem; I understand that the words height and volume appear in the question statement, it is more of a work & rate problem.
