I am retaking my GMAT as I didn't score well in my first attempt (my prep was not consistent due to several work and personal commitments coming in the way) but I am determined to devote some serious time to study further, 3 months give or take. Question is about the materials I have currently and whether they would suffice in my preparation.

I have the Official Guide 13th edition and its associated Quant & Verbal supplements from 2012 (given by a friend a year or so ago), the entire Manhattan GMAT strategy set and the Foundations of Quat by Manhattan Prep. I don't have any online prep packages, but I do have the GMATPrep software for practice that I did not utilize during my first attempt. I used the 13th edition for practice nearly 4 times in my preparation repeatedly and the Manhtattan series.

Is the above list sufficient or should I invest in the latest Official Guide 2018 books? Or would you recommend Magoosh and other online prep tools? I believe my pacing and ability to tackle data sufficiency questions is weak and so is Sentence Correction.

Hello geemat10,

Manhattan is considered one of the best material for studying for GMAT. However, please note that nothing comes closer to Official Guides when you want to practice GMAT like questions.

I personally dont think investment in Official Guides is not a waste of money, however you do have an option to borrow or buy used versions from friends.

Hello

Basically my Answer is No!

If you have already OG 2105, 2016,Then only new questions in OG 18 are worth full
which you can easily solve on GMAT Club, so better spend this money on Magoosh or Manhattan prep challenge questions
or CATs

Good Luck :)
