I recently gave GMAT and got a score of 700. I need some admission consultants' help in deciding whether I should apply with this score in round one or should I retake GMAT and apply again in around two. Kindly suggest which are some of the most common consultants.

Also, before investing my amount in a consultant, I would like to know what and how are the services provided. Kindly suggest name of those consultants which give a free session to understand the offerings.

Hi Yash,

First about your GMAT - a retake decision depends upon the schools you wish to apply to. Ideally your GMAT should be close to or above their class average.

Now about the admissions consultants- do you wish to with the most common consultants or one that will fit your requirement, provide you one to one consulting and be truly invested in your success?

Some research on consultants will go a long way in submitting great applications.There is no one size fit all solution here, but the good thing is there are several great consultants on GMAT Club. Reach out to us and decide with based on your investigation.

If you should retake or not depends on a whole bunch of things, such as where you are applying (what schools), how the rest of your profile looks and so on, so it’s impossible for me to tell you if you should or should not without knowing much more about you. I would suggest that the best way to find the right consultant for you is to schedule as many free counselling sessions as possible - almost all consultants provide them and they can prove to be very helpful for you to make a decision.

Would need a bit more information to help guide you on whether you need to retake. The right score is the score that will get you into the schools you are targeting, which means you need to be at or above the avg score at these target schools. Also, your GPA will factor in as well so please share that number
