Announcing the GMAT Club MBA Rankings 2026
The GMAT Club Top 50 US Full-Time MBA Ranking for 2026 is live. Full Blog post with methodology is here
This year's list is built from the inputs that actually matter to applicants: post-MBA outcomes, academic profile and selectivity, peer and recruiter reputation, and class diversity. Every program is scored on a 0 to 100 scale anchored to a theoretical perfect score, so year over year comparisons stay meaningful.
A few headlines from the 2026 table:

What the shape of the data tells us
Four patterns stand out in this year's ranking. We've illustrated each below using relative comparisons across tiers, so you can see the shape of the data without getting lost in the underlying numbers.
Scores decline gradually within tiers, with one sharp break between #14 and #15.
Peer and recruiter reputation drops off meaningfully outside the M7.
Starting compensation is tight at the top and falls steeply by rank tier.
Employment at graduation is noisy and only loosely correlated with rank.

This year's list is built from the inputs that actually matter to applicants: post-MBA outcomes, academic profile and selectivity, peer and recruiter reputation, and class diversity. Every program is scored on a 0 to 100 scale anchored to a theoretical perfect score, so year over year comparisons stay meaningful.
A few headlines from the 2026 table:
- Wharton takes #1 at 95.50,
- Stanford (95.03) and Harvard (95.01) functionally tied behind it.
- The full M7 fits inside a 3.36-point band.
- Booth and Kellogg are nearly tied. So are Columbia and Sloan.
- The cleanest tier break in the table sits between Duke at #14 and Tepper at #15, a drop of more than 5 full points.
- Ten programs fight it out in a tight band from #16 to #25, where fit, location, and target industry matter far more than rank.
