BioXTech's chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high? No, they are of its niche product's. Hence, B is wrong.
our company is considering investing in niche products? No, our company is considering investing in BioXTech, which indeed is investing in niche products. Hence, C and E are wrong.
A vs D- A is passive and D is active. Also, meaning comes into play here- our company is considering investing in BioXTech is the main point of this sentence, it should not be used as a modifier as in A.
Hence, answer is D.

A. Some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually to get commercialized are very high, are under development by BioXTech, in which our company is considering to invest.
Investment is done on the niche products rather than the Bioxtech.

B. There are some niche products under development by BioXTech, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high, which our company is considering investing in.
comma + which is wrong. It sound as if our company is investing Bioxtech rather investing in the Bioxtech.

C. BioXTech is developing some niche products, which have very high chances of success in clinical trials and eventually to get commercialized and which our company is considering investing in.
Considering to invest is better.

D. Our company is considering investing in BioXTech, which is developing some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high.
comma which gives a non essential idea. It doesn't show that the reason to invest in Bioxtech is its Niche products.

E. BioXTech is developing some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high and in which our company is considering to invest.
Correct. The company wants to invest in those products.

IMO answer D

A. Some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually to get commercialized are very high, are under development by BioXTech, in which our company is considering to invest.
=> whose chances of success / and "to get commercialized" => not parallell ( should be getting) , A NO
B. There are some niche products under development by BioXTech, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high, which our company is considering investing in.
=> whose should be closer to products, they are the one whose chances of success ... not BioxTech + which should be close to BioXtech too => B NO
C. BioXTech is developing some niche products, which have very high chances of success in clinical trials and eventually to get commercialized and which our company is considering investing in.
Get commercialized X=> NO + seems here like company is considering investing in products, not really the sense here
D. Our company is considering investing in BioXTech, which is developing some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high.
=> Perfect
E. BioXTech is developing some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high and in which our company is considering to invest. => for the same reason as C not invest in products.

So Answer D.

A. Some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually to get commercialized are very high, are under development by BioXTech, in which our company is considering to invest.

main verb absent in the dependent clause

B. There are some niche products under development by BioXTech, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high, which our company is considering investing in.

Thank you sayantanc2k for the question!!!

B: Products chances of success, not BioTech
C: Company wants to invest in Biotech, not in products which this sentence is trying to imply
E: Same as C
D is better structured and more concise than A
Answer - D

A. Some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually to get commercialized are very high, are under development by BioXTech, in which our company is considering to invest.
Sentence structure is very muddied and tone is very passive and emphasis on products while it should be on BioXTech. ELIMINATE

B. There are some niche products under development by BioXTech, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high, which our company is considering investing in.
The chances of success are of the niche products, not of BioXTech, as incorrectly mentioned in this sentence. ELIMINATE

C. BioXTech is developing some niche products, which have very high chances of success in clinical trials and eventually to get commercialized and which our company is considering investing in.
Company wants to invest in BioXTech, not in their niche products, as incorrectly indicated in this sentence. ELIMINATE

D. Our company is considering investing in BioXTech, which is developing some niche products, whose chances of success in clinical trials and eventually getting commercialized are very high.
Better structure, concise and emphasis on BioXTech. Also, developing products is correctly referencing BioXTech and chances of success correctly referencing niche products. ANSWER

OE really does not convince. It says “chances of success and to get commercialized” does not parallel, but it can parallel as “chances of success and chance to get commercialized”.
Anyway, it is NOT an official question, so just for fun.

Can a (concrete) noun be parallel to a gerund ?

I remember reading in Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction Book that concrete nouns can only be parallel to concrete nouns, however while solving this question I came across the official explanation that was centered around the parallelism of a noun and a gerund.

In Option D : The explanation provided mentions " The noun "success" and the gerund "getting" are parallel " and my question is around this usage of the parallelism.

Excerpt from Manhattan GMAT SC Book - "In brief, there are three categories of nouns: 1) concrete nouns, 2) action nouns and complex gerunds, and 3) simple gerunds. When making nouns parallel, do not mix these categories."

Can an expert please shed some light on this ?
