Mock 1 and Mock 2 draw from the same question pool, so neither is harder than the other by design. Both run the same adaptive algorithm and the same scoring methodology as the actual exam. If Mock 2 felt harder, the reason is usually that the test adapted to how you were performing that day, plus normal score variation, which is wider on the Focus edition because the sections are shorter.
On whether it is at par with the real paper, the format, the algorithm and the scoring are identical, so the official mocks remain the best predictor available. Please note one caveat. The official material is calibrated for a mass audience and not for the top 1 or 2 percent, so at the higher end the real Quant tends to feel longer in wording and more time-pressured. Most test takers report only 5 to 7 questions of that kind, the rest are in line with what the mocks show.
One more thing to keep in mind. By your third or fourth attempt on Exams 1 and 2 you will start seeing 20 to 30 percent repeated questions in each section, and that inflates the score.
