Hello Kavya, I think this could be due to a few reasons. You might be taking too long to understand the question, or you may be over-calculating when it’s not needed or maybe, your quant fundamentals likely need more practice

Practice more, for me as well it was like this where i took time to understand the question. Now I am solving it under 2.30 mins.

Yes, I’m currently practicing more and more questions to get accustomed to different ways the questions are asked. Do you think with more solving there is a possibility of pattern recognition which could ultimately result in reducing the time per question?

Hi Everyone! I’ve also given quite a few Quant sectional tests lately, but can’t seem to cross 79. I’ve tried a lot of things, deeply analysing my mistakes, solving more questions of my weaker areas, solidifying easy and medium questions on all topics. Please help, what changes can I make in my study approach to improve?

Solve questions the fastest way and the way it suits you most. Practice more sums in similar way, it will better with time.

Hi. How to avoid gmat prep questions in forum quiz ? I can’t find option in drop down menu to deselect- so i assume they are not considered at all. Am i correct ?
