Hi,
I'm in a dilemma of sorts and I'm unsure about how to proceed.
GMAT online now allows 2 attempts and one can choose to send the score from both or just one of the 2 attempts.
I gave the GMAT online twice and got a score of 720 with IR8 on my first attempt. In my second attempt, I got a 770 With a score of just 5 in IR ( very poor time management is to blame here).
To alleviate any IR-skills related concerns bschools may have, should I send both of my scores? The advantage there is that they may notice the perfect IR score in my first attempt. The downside is that they would also get to see my score of 720 and that may harm the impression the 770 would create.
Is a score of 5 in IR going to be a problem for any school anyway? ( I'm fretting because I'm from a highly overrepresented pool and even a minor issue related to scores could hurt my chances)
Any tips or suggestions here would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Side note: I may not apply this year and incase I send out my application in 2021 for fall 2022 admission cycle, I wonder if GMAT online would still be treated the same a year from now. I know nobody can know for sure but I sure hope I don't end up having to give the in-centre GMAT. Not only will I have to prepare again, I'm not sure If I'll be able to manage a 770 then.
