Congratulations for 740. How were the RC passages? Is the Quant section harder than GMATPrep? How was the IR section?

Sure. Got 4 RCs - 2 of short and 2 of medium length. Quant was harder than GMATPrep mocks. IR section was, as usual, calculation heavy and thus lengthy.

Sure. I used the eGMAT online course, official mocks, and OG20 along with some additional OG questions (SC and CR) from GMAT Club.

aakarsh07 - Congratulations on scoring 740. It is an excellent score. Did you report the score on our internal tracker? Also, its good practice to verify your score so that you get a tick against your name on GC. Lastly, I would love to know how you planned your preparation..what your starting scores were and the key sub-sections you prepared for.

Which schools are you planning to apply to BTW..

Cheers!!

Hi Rajat egmat, thanks for the wishes.

No, haven’t reported on the tracker - I am not aware of what it is.

Sure, will see how can I verify the score as you have mentioned.

On prep: I focused on all the sub-sections of Verbal equally. Verbal was the main component of my prep; I was okay in quant (was getting 49-51 since beginning).

Thank you.

Congratulations on your 740.

Can you send your online gmat score reports to unlimited number of schools, all for free? Should the score-sending to all schools be done in one shot only?

Hey - yes, the scores can be sent to any no. of schools. However, I am not sure whether it should be in one shot - haven’t done yet. I will update here after I submit.

Thanks!

Hey ! can you describe how the exam went online?
are there any issues with the proctor or any technical glitches?
I wanted to give the exam online given the conditions at my place(COVID)but was taking a backstep as i have read so many reviews about the technical difficulties while taking the exam online.
Your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks :)

Hey there:

My experience was completely uninterrupted. The “begin exam” option popped up right before 30 mins of the test time. It took me around 15 mins to complete the check-in process, which involved uploading a selfie, picture of the id proof, and front/back/right/left of the work station. You could use either the webcam or the mobile phone to click the pics. For the latter, you can select the option to message link (to your phone), which can be used for uploading the pics.

Once the onboarding is done, you are required to show the front and back side of your physical whiteboard (both sides should be wiped clean), if you are using one.

The communication with proctors was also smooth, yielding quick replies.

So, fortunately, I had a fairly smooth experience.

Hope it helps. Please feel free to reach out for any specific questions.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for your prompt response. How was the difficulty level though? I heard the quant level was difficult compared to the official mocks. Can you also disclose your mock scores(source) and how many did you give ?
