Yes, they directly provided a voucher, which makes it feel even more, like they knew, that I did not cheat. But will try to take the test again at a test center in the comming weeks.

Unfortunate situation. Did GMAC provide a voucher for an in-person attempt? Consider requesting one if they didn't.

Hi veniam

GMAC uses high security to ensure that online testing is seamless and free from fraud yet people are creative hence the trouble.

I have been suggesting that the abled one should not consider taking the exam at home however those who can't move or have specific disability that hinders them taking at center should only consider it.

For the reason that online version is prone to online frauds, many schools have already shown their discontent with online GMAT.

It's best that you take it at center and suggest others likewise.

All the best! I hope you get the well deserved score.

Hi all,

I am beyond words about the disgrace of an organization called GMAC. I completed my GMAT online and scored 725, which I was obviously more than excited about, just to wake up a few days later to the message, that my GMAT score was cancelled, due to "irregularities".

Obviously, I appealed the decision and mentioned that everything I did was in compliance with the GMAT Procedures and Policies, with extensive examples, as well as mentioning, that my score was in line with my mock exams.

Three days later, I received the message, that my appeal will be reviewed, just to get the confirmation (less than 12 hours later), that my score will be cancelled, without a single reason being named.

If any of you are planning on getting a high score (99th-percentile), do not take the GMAT online, they will cancel it and will not give you a reason. I wish I had known before about the arbitrariness of the GMAC.

Wishing all of you the best of luck for your future exams and don't make the mistake I did and trust that the GMAC will treat you fairly.

All the best. If possible, try to shrug off what happened previously.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Have heard some cases like this, so its always best to attempt in center test mode.
