Dear All,

I took the GMAT test today and got 610 ( Q48 V25 ). I have 8 (4+ years of Managerial Role & 3+ years of SAP Consultant Role) years of work Experience in IT Industry. Which all Indian Colleges I can apply ?

Dear All,

I took the GMAT test today and got 610 ( Q48 V25 ). I have 8 (4+ years of Managerial Role & 3+ years of SAP Consultant Role) years of work Experience in IT Industry. Which all Indian Colleges I can apply ?

Hey biplab81, I'm not an expert but 610 is too low for good Indian MBA colleges; I believe you still have time for a retake. Let's wait for an expert reply, meanwhile I encourage you to check these three posts:

In India there are lot of schools accept GMAT Score. But these are the suggestable schools with your score. Schulich(Dual Campus-Hyd,Canada), SDA-Mumbai campus, SPJIMR,IIM-Ind,Koh, Shillong, XLRI.

I too heared the same. But what is your Current package and post-mba expected package. Their last year average package is 13 lakhs. So think it.

Hi biplab81,

Looking at your years of work experience(working in different roles), I like to suggest you apply SP Jain, XLRI and some IIM's(not IIM A, B, C). Even Great lakes have a good record in placing students in tech consulting role but CTC would not be up to expectation if you're current CTC is more than 15L.

Dear biplab81,

A 610 on the GMAT is on the lower side; hence, we would suggest a re-take.

Should you wish to proceed with your current score, you could look at the lower ranked IIMs, SP Jain, XLRI; however, you will need to deliberate upon the placement packages from these schools once you graduate as they may not match your existing CTC.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I am currently stuck in my job life. Nothing great happening. Neither i am leaning much nor i am growing as per the market standards. Even though i have 8yrs of work-ex i have a package of 9.5L because i never switched to another company. Because you guys suggest me take one more shot at GMAT i will plan in next 45 days again. I will start preparing for IIMs XLRI and GLIM and side by side i will take another attempt.

Hi All. I took the retest and scored the same 610 on GMAT. I don't have patience to retake anymore. Work pressure is high. I am unable to concentrate completely. I would like to go ahead with my score. Please help me selecting Indian colleges and also the important dates if any. Thanks in advance.
Work Experience : 8 years 1 month (IT)
5 years as Team lead
3+ years as SAP Consultant
Once awarded valuable employee for being the youngest Team Lead and was rewarded for the same.
Extra Co curricular activities: Avid Photographer
Did Street Photography Assignments
Did Blood Donation Camps
Did Drives For Underprivileged children for a NGO
Was Involved with a MLM Company in Engineering Days
Document Street Lives
