Hi yash321,

While a 650 is a strong score (it's just a bit shy of the 80th percentile overall), not all 650s are 'equal.' Many Business Schools view an Applicant's Quant Scaled Score as an indicator of how that Applicant might handle the 'academic side' of the Program, so a 650 with a higher Quant Scaled Score might be viewed as 'better' than one with a higher Verbal Scaled Score.

You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of those Experts here (and you'll have to provide far more information on your Overall profile):

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admission ... tants-124/

If you choose to retest, then we have to examine how you've been studying. Once you've decided on whether to retest or not, you should post back here (or you can PM me directly) and we can talk through your study options going forward.

Hi, I'm a 24F with a Bcom Background. My current GMAT score is close to 600 (Q varying bet 36 and 42 and verbal between 26 and 34) , however, with GMAT closing its R3 in two weeks from now, I'm thinking on moving to GRE. I heard GRE is relatively easier. however, I understand that there should be intense focus towards vocab building to score high for a competent ISB score. can one of you suggest, whether this option is good or risky?

Just a little background about myself: I'm a semi qualified CS and have a CGPA of 3.5/4 with an experience of 4yrs in an MNC

Hi Jaya6! GRE has a different cutoff and one that is in sync with GMAT scores. So its a typical myth that GRE is relatively easier. I would request you to reattempt GMAT. DM for any discussion or suggestions if required :)

Cheers!

Hi Jaya6,

You ask an important question - and the answer will depend on a number of different factors. I've sent you a PM with some notes and additional questions.

I would not say that the GRE is easier, but I do think you could give it a shot. Could you take an official practice GRE and report back with your score breakdown?
